Our sensorial classes engage kids in a variety of activities, where fine motor and gross skills, develop while having fun and letting creativity flow. Each class begins and ends with a connecting circle, leading into each activity, which purposely engages multiple senses and contributes naturally to sensory self regulation . This is also an excellent opportunity for peer play, peer observation and healthy social interactions to flourish. Parents and children will learn fun strategies and activities, that support development of gross and fine motor skills, cognitive development, as well as sensory regulation.
Classes are taught weekly in a private garden location, local parks, homeschool pods, micro school groups, or for other private groups.

Hi, I am Sandra and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, massage therapist, yoga instructor and have a certification in Permaculture design.
Through my physical therapy practice I enjoy working with kids and adults throughout the lifespan. I have a passion for working with children and adults with neurologic conditions, and also specialize in early childhood development.
Throughout my years in the healing arts, I have found that a consistently holistic approach to healing is what has the most profound and long lasting effect.
Having a strong foundation and knowledge of the physical and energetic body provides a necessary framework when helping clients rehab or prevent injury. The true difference I find comes from incorporating integral components such as a healthy diet, herbal remedies, movement, massage, preventative exercises, as well as tools such as sound healing and nature. I integrate many of these elements mentioned above, and work intuitively with each client, helping them to discover that the body and mind hold the wisdom that allows us to begin to heal ourselves, when we slow down enough to listen.
Since becoming a mom, my whole world shifted and I wanted to spend more and more time raising and educating my daughter. The gift of motherhood led me to teaching parent and me classes with a sensory and gross motor based focus; which later led to developing an entire curriculum for these classes, which I now teach privately and at different home school and micro school programs in the community. This also has branched out into a passion for helping families understand sensory regulation, and how we all benefit from a regulated nervous system in order to show up in our lives in the best way possible.
In a nutshell I am a being of many gifts, and as I navigate the space of creating my offerings (services) and sharing these gifts with the world, at the core is always professionalism, integrity, love and a passion to help others realize that we each have the light within us, to achieve what we want and to live a balanced and healthy life, within this fast paced world we are a part of.
Looking forward to connecting with you.
With light and love,
Dr. Sandra Alcazar, PT, DPT
